Hi, I'd like to second this request: I find the apt-cache policy command very handy to check impact of adding a new package. I happily experimental, unstable, testing and my own repositories, and often use apt-cache policy to check which package I'll actually get if I update/install a certain one. And I happen to like the way it's presented, clear, no fuss.
