Hi all! I have tested the bug with my card an I can certify that there is a regression bewteen 1.1.0-b4 release and current module.
With releases below 1.1.0-b4 dhclient simply does not work with my rt2500 card and the wireless connection with AP is very unstable, whereas nothing of this sort happen with pure 1.1.0-b4.. The good point is that we can locate the regression in our patches, and I think the 2.6.19 is a good candidate since it was already present before 2.6.20 patch.
