I have reduced the message to only one echo that fits on one line: echo "To finish the installation: execute /usr/share/dtc/admin/install/install" I HAVE to keep this one, or I will send you all the people that don't understand why it doesn't work out-of-the-box and you will get crazy! :) Not joking: for most newbies, README.Debian is not something they know and even less read. Let me know if you still think it's abusing, or if I can have an alternative way to warn the users. I think that if I do it in the debconf system, somebody will say that I'm abusing the debconf system too, right?
