Package: libcurl3-openssl-dev Version: 7.15.5-1 Severity: normal I'm not sure if I've phrased the subject quite right, so I shall explain my particular circumstances: I had the cduce package installed, which depends on libcurl-ocaml-dev, which depends on libcurl3-gnutls-dev. I then wanted to build pinot (which is not packaged) from source, but it requires curl-with-openssl. Hence, in order to build pinot, I had to deinstall cduce.
That was my particular problem, but it seems to be caused by the general problem mentioned in the title. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-4-686 Locale: LANG=en_GB.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_GB.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages libcurl3-openssl-dev depends on: ii libc6-dev [libc-dev] 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Development Librari ii libcurl3 7.15.5-1 Multi-protocol file transfer libra ii libidn11-dev 0.6.5-1 Development files GNU libidn, impl ii libkrb5-dev 1.4.4-7 Headers and development libraries ii libssl-dev 0.9.8c-4 SSL development libraries, header ii zlib1g-dev 1:1.2.3-13 compression library - development libcurl3-openssl-dev recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
