Package: silc-toolkit Version: 0.9.12-6 Severity: normal
Thanks for cleaning this package up and putting it back in debian proper. The folks at silcnet.org are offering version 1.0.2 of the toolkit: http://silcnet.org/software/download/toolkit/ There are enough significant changes that you can't actually build the latest version of the silc-server against silc-toolkit 0.9.12. I ran into this problem earlier tonight due to an undefined value for SilcStringEncoding (defined in lib/silcutil/silcstrutil.h). The modern version of the toolkit has about a dozen definitions for that constant, while the version in debian only has half that. i'm sure there are other differences as well, but i haven't cataloged them. It would be nice to have the latest version in debian (sid or experimental at least, since etch is frozen). Thanks for working on this package for debian. --dkg -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (200, 'unstable'), (101, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-686 Locale: LANG=en_US.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
