Hi,
Sylvain must be right. Could you make sure that you have entered decent
values (i.e. in particular non-empty) when answering the debconf
questions? What are the values of the entries related to mldonkey in
/var/cache/debconf/config.dat?
Thanks.
Samuel.
Hi,
the interesting lines in my
/var/cache/debconf/config.dat
looked like:
Name: mldonkey-server/max_hard_download_rate
Template: mldonkey-server/max_hard_download_rate
Value:
Owners: mldonkey-server
Flags: seen
Name: mldonkey-server/max_hard_upload_rate
Template: mldonkey-server/max_hard_upload_rate
Value:
Owners: mldonkey-server
Flags: seen
I do not know why the values were empty. I never changed that file but I
think that I answer the rarely occurring debconf questions properly.
Now I added some reasonable values and then I was able to
apt-get install mldonkey-server
without any problem.
Unfortunately
/etc/init.d/mldonkey-server
does not exist; but that might be another story ...
Thanks
R.
