Package: nfs-common Version: 1:1.0.12-1 Followup-For: Bug #407264 The patch 11-root-on-krb5-mounts.patch breaks backward compatibility with nfs-servers <= 1.0.10 when using Kerberos5 with NFSv4!
Server: nfs-kernel-server 1.0.10-6 Client: nfs-common 1.0.12-1 When I try to do mount the filesystem form an etch-box on a sid-box, I get the following message fom mount: mount: block device server:/home is write-protected, mounting read-only mount: cannot mount block device corellon:/home read-only and in syslog: rpc.gssd[5012]: ERROR: No usable keytab entries found in keytab '/etc/krb5.keytab' rpc.gssd[5012]: Do you have a valid keytab entry for root/<your.host>@<YOUR.REALM> in keytab file /etc/krb5.keytab ? rpc.gssd[5012]: Continuing without (machine) credentials - nfs4 mounts with Kerberos will fail No, I don't have "root/[EMAIL PROTECTED]", but "nfs/[EMAIL PROTECTED]" which is working fine between an etch-server and an etch-client. But the sid-client is no longer able to mount. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (989, 'unstable'), (1, 'experimental') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.20.1-laptop Locale: LANG=de_DE.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=en_US.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages nfs-common depends on: ii adduser 3.102 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-13 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii libcomer 1.39+1.40-WIP-2006.11.14+dfsg-1 common error description library ii libevent 1.1a-2 An asynchronous event notification ii libgssap 0.10-4 A mechanism-switch gssapi library ii libkrb53 1.4.4-7 MIT Kerberos runtime libraries ii libnfsid 0.18-0 An nfs idmapping library ii librpcse 0.14-2 allows secure rpc communication us ii libwrap0 7.6.dbs-13 Wietse Venema's TCP wrappers libra ii lsb-base 3.1-23 Linux Standard Base 3.1 init scrip ii netbase 4.29 Basic TCP/IP networking system ii portmap 5-26 The RPC portmapper ii ucf 2.0020 Update Configuration File: preserv nfs-common recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
