The problem already existed when I had the default GTK version from Debian. I just today finally got myself to report it. > and disable any clipboard > managers you have running. Now that’s a very interesting point. I’m running gnome-clipboard-daemon and when I kill it, GIMP does not crash anymore. But as soon as I restart the daemon, GIMP dies even if I did select and copy before starting the daemon. So I guess it’s gnome-clipboard-daemon’s fault. But the same happens when I try glipper instead. But I need a clipboard daemon to be able to copy and paste between applications even after they have been closed. So what should I do now?
