Since I have a SCSI disk and run using LVM (under EVMS) this report concerned me, and I have been avoiding rebooting my system. (My hardware is i386, different from the report.)
Is there any news? It would be great to get it nailed down. Thanks to everyone for their work on what sounds like a pretty tricky problem.
