Yes, I did. That also shows umlauts. Cutting and pasting from the report, mine says: ReinvermÃgen Balkendiagramm: Keine Konten ausgewÃhlt FÃr diesen Bericht mÃssen Konten ausgewÃhlt werden. Berichtsoptionen Ãndern It's a pain to generate screen shots, but repeating yourself in ten different ways doesn't change it. Gnucash is doing just fine, but your configuration is quite possibly messed up. Get rid of or rename the .gnucash directory and .gnome/GnuCash, and see what happens. That will get you the defaults. Really, there isn't a reproduceable bug here. Thomas
