Package: tzdata Version: 2006c-2 Severity: important
Daylight savings time rules change in the US, effective March 1, 2007, moving start of DST to the second Sunday of March (11 March 2007) rather than first Sunday of April (1 April 2007). It is now 7 Feb 2007. The rules are already changed upstream, and upstream is already propogated to unstable. (tzdata_2007a-3). I don't see any indication that packages are going to be updated in time for the change to occur (and any local on-site testing which may be desired) for testing / stable, and would strongly encourage any planed release of updated tzdata packages to be expedited. NOCs tend to get anxious about this sort of thing. That is all ;-) Peace. -- System Information: Debian Release: testing/unstable APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing'), (500, 'stable'), (50, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-686 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
