Hi Paolo, you are right about this problem, but the current code works well with the standard configuration. Problems my arise if you use a non default MTA. I would add a note about this in README.Debian. I wrote about default configuration. All my tests are done using exim as MTA. exim have uucp among the trusted users. I also checked default postfix configuration and it seems it does the same. I tough all MTA would accept uucp user as special user since uucp is required for transferring email via UUCP over TCP.
