No, it doesn't happen anymore.
By looking at the changelog, this bug was fixed in version 1.2.0-1,
this is the changelog entry:
+ Removed 'ximian-setup-tools' transitional package.
As the package no longer exists, the bug does not exist either.
(I wonder why it was not closed in the changelog itself).
