You should also have another logfile with the timestamp when you have
switched the user for the 1st time (probably /var/log/Xorg.log.old after
reboot).

Thanks. reportbug is really useful as it sums up required information for 
debugging.

Mmh this can explain why I couldn't reproduce this.

As further tests, can you switch VT with CTRL+ALT+Fx? From X to a
console, and from a console to X?
I tend to think this is not an issue with fusa but with the video
driver, but as I do not have any knowledge of powerpc...
