I am more than reluctant to package the current CVS HEAD version of python-fuse and upload it to unstable, since many packages that use python-fuse (gmailfs and wikipediafs most notably) still rely on the last stable release of python-fuse to work, and I don't see the maintainers for those programs change this behavior until python-fuse has another official release.
