After some testing, I can confirm that it does (at least it passed beyond the point where it was failing under the fr_FR.UTF-8 locale.... complete atlas3 builds are way too much a hassle for my poor laptop CPU...). So, it builds with a C locale and it doesn't with fr_FR.UTF-8 (and probably many others) because of expect waiting for a hardcoded string. Definitely not RC....
