Package: bacula-common Version: 1.38.11-7 Severity: normal Hi,
I just installed the virtual package bacula. No I tried as in the tutorial described to run the bconsole. Unfortunately I did not get a connection. I was able to find the problem: the deamon was listening on localhost:9... but the bconsole tried to connect to <hostname>:9... I agree having the servives only listening on localhost is secure, so this is a good default setup, but in this case as well the clients should connect to localhost. -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (990, 'testing'), (500, 'unstable'), (500, 'stable') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.18-3-686 Locale: [EMAIL PROTECTED], [EMAIL PROTECTED] (charmap=ISO-8859-15) Versions of packages bacula-common depends on: ii adduser 3.101 Add and remove users and groups ii debconf [debconf-2.0] 1.5.11 Debian configuration management sy bacula-common recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
