Thanks for the heads up. I hadn't even noticed the new upstream release. I've just recently been getting involved with Debian things again, and I expect to be able to update the sextractor package pretty easily. I'm lending a hand at the AAVSO offices this week; Debian is preparing a new stable release, so the upload will probably go initially to "experimental" (even though I don't know of any packages which depend on sextractor, much less a changing interface thereof).
