Bug#406144: mc: segfaults if trying to enter a directory owned by root (attempted by a regular user)

Hi,

I tried:

 $ sudo mkdir testdir
 $ sudo chmod 700 testdir
 $ mc
     ... try to change into testdir

--->               Error
           Cannot change directory

So I can not reproduce your problem.  Could you please
provide more info?
