package hashcash tags 281918 + fixed pending thanks I've written a Python wrapper script that will launch multiple instances of hashcash, to take advantage of SMP, clusters, etc. The script will be included in future versions of hashcash (under contrib).
I'm waiting for the next upstream release (which upstream says will be soon) before making another package. Until then, the script can be found at: http://article.gmane.org/gmane.mail.spam.hashcash/762 BTW, it seems like hashcash won't benefit much from hyperthreaded CPUs since hyperthreaded CPUs don't work well with numeric-intensive tasks. I've tested the script on a openMosix cluster, and it works as expected.
