Hi, first of all, thanks for your providing so much detailed info. I guess that a good `merge candidate' would be #404738[1], that Michaël Dänzer reassigned from xserver-xorg-video-ati to libgl1-mesa-dri some days ago. 1. http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=404738 I guess that reassigning this bugreport to the same package, then merging them would the way to go.
