This is no good because it means writing a generalised shell-escape
quoter.
proc sensible_exec {redirections arguments} {
set quoted_arguments {}
foreach arg $arguments {
lappend quoted_arguments [regsub ... $arg ...
These kinds of things are usually buggy and I wouldn't want to
perpetrate one.
Would it help if I supplied a patch ?
