hi alex, i'm sorry, but i never got around to rebuilding the php5 package with debug symbols enabled, and now i'm sitting in the lobby of an airport waiting for a delayed trans-atlantic flight :(
however, there's a new upload of php5 in unstable which fixes a
documented memory leak, and i'm wondering if that's maybe the
same problem you're having? could you give it a try?
