I'm also seeing reportbug hang when "checking for newer versions ..."; it just sits there while memory usage rapidly skyrockets until the system runs out of RAM and begins to swap, and then continues rising. I only see this with operating mode set to advanced; setting it to normal resolves the problem, which is how I'm filing this :). -- Package-specific info: ** Environment settings: INTERFACE="text" ** /home/yitzhak/.reportbugrc: reportbug_version "3.31" mode standard ui text realname "celejar" email "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 APT prefers unstable APT policy: (500, 'unstable') Architecture: i386 (i586) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.4.27-2-386 Locale: LANG=en_US, LC_CTYPE=en_US (charmap=ISO-8859-1) Versions of packages reportbug depends on: ii python 2.4.3-11 An interactive high-level object-o ii python-central 0.5.12 register and build utility for Pyt Versions of packages reportbug recommends: pn python-cjkcodecs | python-ico <none> (no description available) -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
