I can't reproduce the same problem on my system. However, I noticed
that you are using python-gpod (0.4.0-0.3), which is an unofficial
version not yet available in Debian. When trying to use this version
of python-gpod on my system, exaile doesn't even enable the iPod
features.
Could you please try to downgrade python-gpod to 0.3.2 and see if that
solves the problem?
