Package: debconf Version: 1.5.10 Severity: wishlist Hi,
Most of debconf notes are annoying as they are not related with package configuration and force the user to press enter many times during the installation. As a few debconf notes are still mandatory to have a working system, I suggest to add a configuration option to allow the user to choose whether he/she wants to see these usage notes, displaying only critical notes otherwise. The attached patch is probably very incomplete, I prefer to have some feedback on the idea before working too much on it. Cheers, -- Thomas Huriaux
