Hello, I downloaded and tested: http://rootfs.net/debs/icewm_1.2.28-4_i386.deb Situation is a lot better :) Well, good but not perfect though: all new windows now seem to initially stack in front of others, and most dialogs get focused when their mother window is focused, but some apps dialogs of focused windows still don't get focused. More precisely, about Rox-Filer: When I call for "Options" or "rename box" from a directory window, either with the menu or keyboard shortcut, it doesn't get focused as expected. FWIW I had a quick look at window properties (I'm not expert at NETWM): Options is declared to be a normal window (_NET_WM_WINDOW_TYPE), while "Rename box" is a dialog. I think at least the dialog one should be focused because I had FocusOnMapTransientActive=1 (implicitly).
