Package: dhcp3-client
Version: 3.0.4-10
Severity: normal
Anyone doing DDNS needs to send a hostname as pump can. Becuase of other
dependencies we need to run dhcp3-client. The only way to pass a host
name is to list it as a string.
I tried:
"$HOSTNAME"
`echo $HOSTNAME`
$HOATNAME
with various surprising results.
I think one should be able to change the hostname on a computer with just
one config file.
