(This bug was reassign from Nautilus to linux-2.6 as I believe this to be a kernel issue) I don't have a problem getting my iPodling to eject cleanly using linux-image-2.6.18-2-686 version 2.6.18-5. No more error messages, and the iPod itself display the "OK to disconnect" on the display.
