I'm seeing very ugly kerning for "Te" (italic) in the installer. See attached screenshot.
This is a Pango bug, see http://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=334758 Pango applies the same kerning for as many script the kerning pair is defined in. We can fix that on the font side by making sure the kerning pairs are only defined in Latin (or their own script), since T and e are Latin, it's not a problem.
