Since today Evolution always starts up in offline mode. Even if I go to online mode and then exit, when I re-launch Evolution it will be in offline mode again.
Maybe this was the day you installed network-manager? If you have a working network-manager and it's disconnected (e.g. you don't use it), it will go offline automatically. If it's not installed, you usually get an error message on the console. Cheers, Øystein Gisnås
