I still find dpkg useful and would like to humbly
suggest adding an option like --listfiles, but
which also lists files in
/var/lib/dpkg/info/<package>.*
For example, the new option would also list files
like
/var/lib/dpkg/info/kdm.postinst
The option could be called something like
"--listallfiles".
