I tested it again in another environment, and the result ist:
- current umount is still segfaulting with UUID labels, without quotes
now
- with Maxx's patches it does NOT segfault
but:
- with quotes around the UUID, I still get the message about
diagreement
~/debian/tmp/util-linux.uuidsegfault$ mount/mount /mnt/c
~/debian/tmp/util-linux.uuidsegfault$ mount/umount /mnt/c
umount: /mnt/c mount disagrees with the fstab
~/debian/tmp/util-linux.uuidsegfault$ grep mnt.c /etc/fstab
UUID="C00E-14BA" /mnt/c vfat utf8,user,umask=000 0 0
The last issue should be a separate (minor) bug report, IMO.
