I have both bad and good news.
First the bad news. With 1.3.19-4 I can reproduce the problem
systematically with

They work OK if open in the same tab. When the links are open in a
new tab, the plug-in starts but displays nothing. In other words,
the symptoms are identical as in situations when the plug-in is used
to access a non-existing file.
The page
http://www.mimuw.edu.pl/~jsbien/KnapskiT/
has been created by myself and it contains stupid mistakes in some
links (namely the Javascript links). Even if the problem described is
caused by some other stupid mistakes which I am not yet aware of,
there should be some informative diagnostics.
