Hello,

   Are you using /etc/init.d/stunnel4 ?
If you launch stunnel4 yourself (by starting command /usr/bin/stunnel4 /etc/stunnel/secure_easynews-client.conf) you can not put you configuration file in /etc/stunnel because /etc/init.d/stunnel4 script will failed to start (port is already bind by your stunnel4)

If you are using /etc/init.d/stunnel4, can you five me output of :
sh -x /etc/init.d/stunnel4 start
sh -x /var/lib/dpkg/info/stunnel4.postinst

Best Regards
