Hi,
Public packages of ipw3945-source had a module-assistant override to
make m-a aware of ipw3945. It seems it's a simple symlink:
lrwxrwxrwx root/root 0 2006-11-08 13:25
./usr/share/modass/overrides/ipw3945-source -> ../packages/default.sh
This was enough for me to build ipw3945-source with m-a:
# ln -s ../packages/default.sh /usr/share/modass/overrides/ipw3945-source
