Bug#298928: mozilla-firefox: Firefox crashes when hitting Enter in address bar

I have tried to start it with an empty profile (no extension nor 
settings) but the same crash occurs.

Any extensions installed? Can you try moving your .mozilla and
.firefox directories out of the way and start with a fresh profile?
