Package: java-package Version: 0.20 Followup-For: Bug #288619 -----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1
Hi, I read a remark in the third message in this thread where the author claims that he doesn't see a problem in dropping support for having multiple versions of Java installed parallely. That would be a problem for me, as I'm forced to use different JVM's for different purposes, because the level of support for AMD64 varies across vendors and versions, none being "perfect." Other developers might need to have older compilers around to test compliance against a particular Java version. - -- System Information: Debian Release: 3.1 Architecture: amd64 (x86_64) Kernel: Linux 2.6.11-ck2 Locale: LANG=es_AR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=es_AR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages java-package depends on: ii coreutils 5.2.1-2 The GNU core utilities ii debhelper 4.2.31 helper programs for debian/rules ii fakeroot 1.2.6 Gives a fake root environment - -- no debconf information -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.4.0 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQFCPK74823633cP2P8RAns9AKCYf4Hw1c9oqsxbbhz72Z5LLsBmFgCfX/NR UySNBgVGvcGIGOgLCD2aIgM= =+mhJ -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
