Package: fuse-utils Version: 2.5.3-4.1 Severity: minor
AFAICT, fusermount shouldn't be called in order to mount, directly, by the user, and instead programs should trigger it. Only for unmounting should it be used... I think this should be added to the doc / man page. Otherwise, all mount attempts will lead to : fusermount: old style mounting not supported Reference : http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.file-systems.fuse.devel/389/ My 2 cents, -- System Information: Debian Release: 4.0 APT prefers testing APT policy: (500, 'testing') Architecture: i386 (i686) Shell: /bin/sh linked to /bin/bash Kernel: Linux 2.6.17-2-686 Locale: LANG=fr_FR.UTF-8, LC_CTYPE=fr_FR.UTF-8 (charmap=UTF-8) Versions of packages fuse-utils depends on: ii adduser 3.99 Add and remove users and groups ii libc6 2.3.6.ds1-7 GNU C Library: Shared libraries ii makedev 2.3.1-83 creates device files in /dev ii sed 4.1.5-1 The GNU sed stream editor ii ucf 2.0016 Update Configuration File: preserv ii udev 0.100-2.2 /dev/ and hotplug management daemo fuse-utils recommends no packages. -- no debconf information -- To UNSUBSCRIBE, email to [EMAIL PROTECTED] with a subject of "unsubscribe".
