In the console, the keyboard is set correctly to norwegian (no-latin1) In X, the keyboard is set correctly, and in gdm the keyboard is working correctly. But when gnome is started, the keyboard is set to US To get a working system I had to use gnome-keyboard-properties to set the keyboard to norwegian. While it almost acceptable to do this for an experienced user, This is not acceptable for novice user, and definitly not acceptible if we are going to set up a network solution for schools or other environments like we do with Debian-edu. Because of this bug, I dont even want to build a gnome-based debian-edu installation CD.
