I'm pleased that 337215 has been fixed, it's also the fix for 395954. However, I really don't think that 395954 should have been reassigned to blitz++. It has nothing to do with blitz++, but with a problem in the dh_installinfo code, now fixed, which has been corrupting the dir files.
By assigning it to blitz++, the clear statement of the bug symptom in 395954's title (rather than the obscure title of 337215) is now missing from the debhelper bug listings. That was one of the reasons I submitted it (along with a patch), so others could quickly identify their problem. The fix involves using a (nice) undocumented feature of install-info. dh_installinfo was duplicating that logic.
