Hi,

inconsistencies between the daemon and the CGI could be caused by a
persistent perl interpreter, eg. SpeedyCGI (which is enabled in the
default configuration) that gets confused by configuration changes.

If you're using speedy, does the problem persist after killing
off the speedy_backend processes? Alternatively, with mod_perl,
try restarting apache.

If that doesn't help, please include your config file (or at least the
Probes and the Targets sections). I can't reproduce your problem with a
trivial configuration.
