Package: libdbus-1-3
Version: 0.94-1
Severity: normal

When starting gaim I get the following error message:

"D-Bus library appears to be incorrectly set up; failed to read machine uuid:
Failed to open "/var/lib/dbus/machine-id": No such file or directory
See the manual page for dbus-uuidgen to correct this issue.
Continuing with a bogus made-up machine UUID, which may cause problems."

Both the directory /var/lib/dbus/ and the executable dbus-uuidgen (and its
manpage) are not available on the system. Is this a post-install and a
dependency problem?
