linux-modules-extra-2.6 appears to be sort of a meta-package -- it depends
on the '*-source' packages being available for the modules it wants to
build. I just took a look at the source package for
linux-modules-extra-2.6 (2.6.18-1) unstable (5 Oct 2006)
and the control file lists a depend on spca5xx-source.
I don't think you want to remove spca5xx-source. (Or did I misunderstand
what you meant?)
