/usr/share/kernel-package/ruleset/kernel_version.mk includes the kernel Makefile to get the Versions. But the kernel Makefile will directely configure the kernel independend of the current target if reconfiguration is needed. This fills TEST, VERSION, PATCHLEVEL, SUBLEVEL, EXTRA_VERSION and LOCALVERSION with the complete configure process.
