Package: dpkg Version: 1.13.21 Severity: wishlist It would be great if package maintainers were permitted to offer a rationale whenever a developer Recommend or Suggest a package dependency. Then, hopefully synaptic and aptitude could show these rationales so I could decide more easily if I really need the dependency or not.
