Package: gv
Version: 1:3.6.2-1
Severity: normal
According to the documentation (info gv resources resource\ files),
preferences are read from the user resource file (~/.gv). These
preferences are however overriden by those in
/etc/X11/app-defaults/GV.
A simple way to reproduce this behavior is to:
1. launch gv
2. change some options (for example, activate "Watch File" in the
"State" menu)
3. in the "State" menu, choose "GV options ...", then "Save"
a this point, a file ~/.gv is created with the selected preferences
4. quit gv
5. launch another instance of gv: the preferences are not restored
