Package: cvs Version: 1:1.12.13-5 Severity: important I use the cvs-pserver over inetd with pam_winbind as additional authentication method. Since the apt-get upgrade last week (updating many packages, including winbind and cvs), the authentication for the cvs-pserver stopped working; reporting:
PAM open session error: System error cvs [login aborted]: Error reading from server <server>: 0: No such file or directory After making sure winbind is still working (various other services use this for authentication via pam, too), I tried downgrading cvs to 1.12.9-13 from stable. Now, everything is working fine again, so I assume this is a cvs problem. The winbind version installed on the system is 3.0.23c-1 (from testing).
