This cleanup algorithm suits for a server setup where gui installations are rare. But lot many people use Debian on their desktops/laptops and I guess they would be using gui tools to navigate through the filesystem. We should consider those systems/users too. Probably removing the atime option should fix the issue for a gui user/machine. What do you say ??
