I've recently adopted this package and came across your bug. Thank you
for reporting it.

However, I cannot reproduce it at all. It works just fine here, on an
out-of-the-box installation of apache2, php4 and phpmyadmin. I've also
inspected the dependencies of phpmyadmin and they look just fine.

I'm wondering whether your problem might have been caused by a
configuration problem of PHP (or Apache?), or by a transitional problem
in the PHP or Apache packages.

Can you still reproduce this with current sid? If so, we need to find
out where this originates exactly.

thanks,
Thijs
